Chris Lightcap has announced the release of 'Superette' due September 7 on Royal Potato Family. It's the debut album from the revered bassist and composer's electrifying experimental band of the same name featuring guitarists Curtis Hasselbring and Jonathan Goldberger and drummer Dan Rieser, along with special guests Nels Cline and John Medeski.

After a prolific career of 22 studio albums, Keller Williams has announced his first ever entirely instrumental release SANS, out on October 19. The new album offers a fresh take on his previous work, with a collection of eight reimagined tracks plus one new song. Williams is set to hit the road this fall with a slew of new tour dates, including a special album release show at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. The tour will also include solo shows as well as performances with PettyGrass, Keller & the Keels, More Than a Little and Keller Williams’ Duo with Danton Boller.
Today, the Buffalo-based groove-rock quartet known as Aqueous announces their most extensive headlining tour to date. Renowned bluesman Cedric Burnside grandson of legendary R.L. Burnside is gearing up for the release of BENTON COUNTY RELIC, out September 14 on Single Lock Records. The first single is the gritty track "We Made It" a matter-of-fact recitation of his poverty-stricken childhood without running water, radio or TV (“I come from nothin’/I done been lower than low/I keep my head straight/No matter how low I go”).
